We do school from 8–11am, then the afternoon is free. Three focused hours beats six distracted ones every time. Our kids retain more and have energy left for life.

Keep a simple Google Doc as your attendance log. One row per day, note the subjects covered. That's it. If you're ever questioned, you have a clean record. Don't overthink recordkeeping.
